The Eltham Farmers' Market is held weekly, every Sunday between 9am - 1pm, in the car park above Eltham Town Mall at 10 - 18 Arthur Street. (exceptions are Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve when the market will be closed).
The Eltham Farmers' Market is Accredited by the Victorian Farmers' Markets Association.
There are a wide variety of stalls selling farm fresh produce and artisan food products - all of which are being sold by the farmer or maker. The organisers are committed to keeping produce as local as possible with all stallholders being Victorian and nearly 50% coming from Nillumbik or adjoining municipalities. 18 stallholders are based in Nillumbik.
There is regular entertainment plus coffee and ready to eat food available.
On the 4th Sunday of each month, the market hosts a community fruit and veggie swap.
The Eltham Farmers’ Market is a project of Local Food Connect Inc. – a not for profit community group dedicated to promoting the interests of our local food economy.
