More Opportunities to Shop Locally at your VFMA Market!

This week, our supporters and members have more locations to attend a VFMA Market as we welcome more stall holders and markets back from the end-of-year to New Year break.

Our Market Managers are doing an amazing job of ensuring that a variety of produce and goods are available at all VFMA markets despite the impact of the recent storms and flooding, and we thank them for this.

You can check out the location of your local VFMA Accredited Farmers' Markets using the link here.

Join the Fight Against Food Waste!

The Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is conducting research to understand how trading practices affect food waste, backed by End Food Waste Australia (formerly Fight Food Waste) CRC project funding.

They need YOUR insights to impact food loss and waste positively!

The team at QUT has crafted a quick survey to capture valuable insights into trading practices. Share your experiences and help shape the future of food sustainability!

National Centre for Farmer Health Support

The National Centre for Farmer Health supports primary producers through the delivery of initiatives to boost farmers' mental health and well-being.

This includes the book Managing Stress on the Farm, which explores the common causes of stressors on farms and offers practical ways to deal with them. It also includes the Steering Straight plan to help individuals manage their mental health with practical, useful steps.

More information is available on the National Centre for Farmer Health website.

There is something for everyone at a VFMA market, and most importantly, you are supporting businesses based in Victoria.
