Wishing all the supporters and friends of the VFMA a Happy New Year.

Unfortunately for some of our producers and farmers, the start to 2024 has been less than desirable, to say the least, with many impacted by the storms, winds, rain, and floods.

Our producers and all those impacted by floods are in our thoughts.

As we progress through January, more of our regular markets will be returning from a well-earned break.

National Centre for Farmer Health Support

The National Centre for Farmer Health supports primary producers through the delivery of initiatives to boost farmers' mental health and well-being.

This includes the book Managing Stress on the Farm, which explores the common causes of stressors on farms and offers practical ways to deal with them. It also includes the Steering Straight plan to help individuals manage their mental health with practical, useful steps.
