September is Better Breakfast Month!

Better Breakfast Month, celebrated every September, emphasizes the undeniable importance of the day's first meal.

With the adage “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day” echoing through generations, this month allows everyone to reconsider what they eat after waking up!

Nobody can afford to bypass the benefits of a nutritious and balanced morning meal.

Quick Facts:

  • Energy Boost: Breakfast fuels the body and brain after an overnight fast.
  • Weight Management: Eating a balanced breakfast can help prevent overeating later in the day.
  • Mood Enhancement: Nutrient-rich foods in the morning can improve mood and stress levels.
  • Cognitive Function: Studies have shown that breakfast improves memory and concentration.
  • Diverse Options: Every palate has a healthy breakfast option, from smoothies to whole grain toast, omelets to yogurt parfaits.

History of Better Breakfast Month

Over time, nutritionists, doctors, and researchers have continuously stressed the health advantages of consuming a good breakfast.

This month grew out of the need to raise awareness about these benefits and combat the modern tendencies to skip breakfast or opt for unhealthy, quick-fix meals.

Using this month to focus on a better breakfast can lead to the establishment of long-term healthy eating habits.
