This Valentine’s Day, let the farmers’ markets be your cupid. Celebrate love, savor the flavors, and honor the hands that nurture our sustenance.

Valentine's Day is about sharing the love of all things good in life with those we care about, be they friends, family, or partners.

Whether it’s a bunch of radishes or a jar of raspberry jam, each purchase is a love note to the earth and its stewards.
🌎❤️🍎

Victoria’s Farmers’ markets are in charming locations—local ovals, town halls, and footpaths. Some of the oldest markets are also in inner-city Melbourne!

Here, you’ll discover the freshest bounty: meats from nearby farms, handmade preserves, and cheeses that sing of terroir. The rhythm of these markets follows the seasons—weekly, fortnightly, and monthly.
🥩🍯

Picture a Valentine’s Day picnic: a rustic sourdough loaf, a creamy camembert wheel, and a jar of wildflower honey. Add sun-kissed peaches and a bottle of local wine, and you’ve crafted a feast to share. The sun warms your cheeks, and the laughter of fellow market-goers fills the air.
🍷🍑

As you explore, meet the egg producers, the cheesemakers, and the bread artisans. Their hands tell tales of dedication, resilience, and love for the land.

And when you gift your loved ones a jar of hand-harvested honey or fresh vegetables, you share more than food—a piece of Victoria’s heart.
